Lemuria Main Quest Line

wizard101 main quest line spiral

This guide is meant as a tool to follow your progress and keep an eye on the Lemuria Quest Line. It can also explain when a cheating boss is coming up.

I list the quests you have to do in a certain area. The areas are listed in the order you should do them in (unless otherwise specified). The area is not always one hundred percent correct, as certain quests can require you to run back and forth between areas to talk to people. To simplify matters, I have not listed this kind of running; the quest will say “talk” but not where the NPC is located. Also, if there is only one quest in an area, I will not mention the area separately. Located between brackets are the different parts of each quest, as many quests require you to do multiple things.

I have divided the quests in the Spiral into the following groups:

  • Talk: Quests that require an interaction with an NPC.
  • Mob: Quests that require the defeat of regular monsters.
  • Elite: Quests that require the defeat of an elite creature.
  • D&C: Quests that require the collection of something from certain monsters (Defeat and Collect).
  • Boss: Quests that require the defeat of a boss. Elite monsters are not counted as bosses.
  • Minor Cheat: Quests that require defeating a boss that cheats a little (these cheats can generally be ignored).
  • Cheat: Quests that require the defeat of a cheating boss (these cheats will hinder normal gameplay somewhat).
  • Major Cheat: Quests the require the defeat of a cheating boss (these cheats will hinder normal gameplay significantly).
  • Solo: Quests you need to do alone.
  • Instance: Quests that require the completion of a place behind a sigil with at least 2 battles.
  • Interact: Quests that require interaction with a certain object.
  • Explore: Quests that just require you to run towards a certain area, NPC or item.
  • Collect: Quests that require you to collect multiple items from areas.
  • Photomancy: Quests that require you to take a picture of an object using Photomancy.
  • Play as Your Pet: Quests that require you to utilize the Play as Your Pet feature.
  • Investigate: Quests that require you to search and collect for clues.

With his main focus in Wizard101 PvE, you will find Cody knee deep fighting one of the Spiral's major bosses with an army of wizards at his disposal. Proficient in quite a few other areas of the game such as gardening, fishing, and most of all monstrology. Why monstrology? He chases after every single creature out there and catalogs them for all to see!

Dakota TitanHeart

Dakota's been playing Wizard101 for well over ten years now. He's seen a lot of change in the game, and loves to check everything out on his trusty Storm and Death. When an update comes out, expect to see him running around to create strategies and discover secrets. While he's more of a PvE player, Dakota isn't new to PvP, formerly a tournament PvPer. Nowadays, he spends his days playing Beastmoon and working on his fire wizard.

  • 60. Have someone join near the end of the timer and moth amon wont summon his minions, meaning he is immediately targetable

    • this has been patched. all late join skips have been patched. including malistaire

  • really easy world

  • For the Lemuria final Battle – Update Below
As at Jan 2023 – an update may assist.
    – The Card swapout cheat appears to have been removed if all Wiz’s join at the same time (late cheat unconfirmed).
    – The Shadoe no longer casts an intercept.
    – The overtime cheat removal now seems to have been removed (enables the 7 pip fire dragon spell)

The general strategy should remain the same – all 4 wizards – Aura(Frenzy) followed by blade and 7 pip spell hit to left hand side (LHS). (order of blade/frenzy doesn’t matter) All 4 should go close to defeating the LHS. (Pack a few 2 pip hits as TC’s if it all goes to pot!)

Flee and return. I usually just collect 2 mana pips from Lemuria and dungeon recall.

Rejoin – and repeat for the RHS team.

While it is possible not to flee and return – the build to get up to 5/7 pips again is slow. and requires a 3 person hit to kill the LHS so that a 4th hitter can take out the RHS – which is all well and good unless your hitter is defeated (seen it more than once)

Unconfirmed – but I suspect the Duck Savage Cheats appear (5k shield and 50% shield) to have been nerfed as well.

General tips – elemental and spirit blades – I avoid due to the pip cost (2 turns – expensive for the utility). (They can be used to advantage by support players if a different strategy is used – eg: 45’s are swapped for 22% balance blades).

I try to aim for a build that is as close to 100% power pips that you can achieve.

For Death wizards I recommend Dark Pact as a backup blade scenario that can be cast across other team members if necessary.

Typical Deck (Death) Sharpen(s), Blade, Frenzy, (7 Pip Spell -Scarecrow), 1 Wand, 2 pip spell in TC’s, Pet Blade if you have one or a second blade.

  • YOU GUYS ARE AWSOME fr though thank you so much its always good to know how far you are in a world. anybody got any tips for getting crafting lvl up

  • Ok, so Im max level, but my problem is I have no mainquest arrows showing for Lemuria and forget if I finished it, isnt there a way to tell or does me not showing a mainquest arrow thing mean Im done?

  • Hi, I finished Karamelle and left wiz in December, how do I trigger lemuria?

    • Hi, if you’ve completed the quest Everything And Nothing from Karamelle, talk to the Old One in the Arcanum for the first Lemuria quest.

  • Question, why hasn’t this been added into the list of world guides just above the comments? This would make it much easier to access it without having to look up “Final Bastion Lemuria Quest Line”.

    • Updated, thanks.

  • For Super Ghosts And Ghouls the first should be Elite

    • Fixed, thanks.

  • Number 33 Scion Sci-off is a solo quest

    • I can confirm, it’s NOT a solo quest. You are allowed to teleport to someone inside! Tested for myself!

  • Having run the Malughast #31 a few times – I suspect there is a second cheat/weakness that is worked in. This relates the rate at which shadow pips are generated. Under normal mob battles ( eg: Humango’s) – with a shadow pip rating of 133 – averaged over 10 runs – my generation rate is 3.2 turns.

In a corresponding 10 solo runs (with identical kit)of the Malughast the generation rate I obtained was one shadow pip per 5.6 turns.

This can effect the availability of spells for folks running a shadow biased deck.

In terms of strategy for soloing this boss – I used Empower TC on the first round for a pip build, waited until after the first boss hit and then cast the Malughast feint on Malughast. I also found using 20% Pierce valuable.

  • It’s “TO ERR IS HERO” for quest #99

    • Updated. Thanks!

  • I appreciate you listing all the quests. I can always count on this website 🙂

  • Just wanted to point out that the numbering at the beginning tends to repeat itself and isn’t counted correctly

    • The repeated numbers are the same quests. This is to indicate that there is an instance in between.
