Wolf Warrior Beastform Spells


The Beastmoon Hunt has returned with a plethora of new features and updates. While most are focused on the new forms and arena, the old spells were also given a makeover. As such, in order to reorganize the guides and update them, I am rewriting the spell guides for each form. Rather than being organized by school, they will instead be organized by form. This guide features the Wolf Warrior Beastform and its spells.

Storm Wolf Warrior

Varg Thundergrowl


Catalyze

 

  • Cost: 0 pips
  • Type: Positive Charm(Blade)
  • Beastmoon Lvl: 1+
  • Mechanics: Apply a +50 flat damage blade to an ally and remove one damage over time(DoT) from said ally.

Thunder Gaze

 

  • Cost: 1 pip
  • Type: Damage/Manipulation
  • Beastmoon Lvl: 1+
  • Mechanics: Deal 50 Storm damage and stun the target for one round.

Storm Surge

 

  • Cost: 2 pips
  • Type: Positive Charm(Blade)
  • Beastmoon Lvl: 1+
  • Mechanics: Apply a +200 flat damage blade to an ally; if that ally has a blade then apply an additional +100 flat damage blade to said ally.

Tempest Tiburon

 

  • Cost: 2 pips
  • Type: Damage
  • Beastmoon Lvl: 1+
  • Mechanics: Deal 200 Storm damage to an enemy.

Sheet Lightning

 

  • Cost: 3 pips
  • Type: Damage/Manipulation
  • Beastmoon Lvl: 1+
  • Mechanics: Deal 100 Storm damage to all enemies and remove one damage over time(DoT) from all allies

Sea King’s Thunder

 

  • Cost: 6 pips
  • Type: Damage/Manipulation
  • Beastmoon Lvl: 1+
  • Mechanics: Deal 200 Storm damage and stun to all enemies.

Turbocharge

 

  • Cost: 1 pip
  • Type: Positive Charm(Blade)
  • Beastmoon Lvl: 2+
  • Mechanics: Apply +100 flat damage blade to an ally; if that ally has a heal over time(HoT) then apply a +25 flat damage absorb to said target.

Feeding Frenzy

  • Cost: 2 pips
  • Type: Damage/Manipulation
  • Beastmoon Lvl: 3+
  • Mechanics: Deal 100 Storm damage to a target; if said target has a negative ward(trap) then recover 1 pip.

Voltaic Phoenix

 

  • Cost: 3 pips
  • Type: Damage
  • Beastmoon Lvl: 4+
  • Mechanics: Deal 300 Storm damage to an enemy; If the caster has an active heal over time(HoT) at the time of cast then deal 400 Storm damage instead.

Avenging Marid

 

  • Cost: 4 pips
  • Type: Damage/AoE
  • Beastmoon Lvl: 5
  • Mechanics: Deal 200 Storm damage to all enemies; if the caster has an active damage over time on them(DoT) then deal 325 Storm damage to all enemies instead.

Lousy Thief

 

  • Cost: 0 pips
  • Type: Manipulation/Damage
  • Beastmoon Lvl: 1+
  • Mechanics: Trade charms with your target and then deal 50 Balance damage to said target.

Scuttling Scorpion

 

  • Cost: 1 pip
  • Type: Damage/Manipulation/Negative Ward(Trap)
  • Beastmoon Lvl: 1+
  • Mechanics: Deal 100 Balance damage to an enemy; remove a shield and if successful apply a +50 flat damage trap to the enemy

Double Down

 

  • Cost: 2 pips
  • Type: Manipulation
  • Beastmoon Lvl: 1+
  • Mechanics: Trade charms with an ally and give said ally 2 pips.

Imperil

 

  • Cost: 2 pips
  • Type: Negative Ward(Trap)/Positive Charm(Blade)
  • Beastmoon Lvl: 1+
  • Mechanics: Apply a +100 flat damage negative ward(trap) to the opponent and apply a protected +100 flat damage positive charm(blade) to yourself.

Stalking Smilodon

 

  • Cost: 3 pips
  • Type: Damage/Manipulation
  • Beastmoon Lvl: 1+
  • Mechanics: Deal 200 damage to the enemy and recover 1 pip

Scouring Sand

 

  • Cost: 5 pips
  • Type:Negative Ward(Trap)/Positive Charm(Blade)/AoE
  • Beastmoon Lvl: 1+
  • Mechanics: Apply a +100 flat damage negative ward(trap) to all enemies; apply a protected +150 flat damage positive charm(blade) to all allies.

Incitement

 

  • Cost: 3 pips
  • Type: Manipulation
  • Beastmoon Lvl: 2+
  • Mechanics: Give an ally 3 pips; remove a charm from said ally and if successful then apply a +100 flat damage positive charm(blade) to that ally.

Sudden Flare

 

  • Cost: 1 pip
  • Type: Damage(Manipulation)
  • Beastmoon Lvl: 3+
  • Mechanics: Deal 100 Balance damage to the target; If the target has any charms then recover one pip.

Vengeful Ronin

 

  • Cost: 4 pips
  • Type: Damage/AoE
  • Beastmoon Lvl: 4+
  • Mechanics: Deal 200 Balance damage to all enemies

Hunting Howl

 

  • Cost: 2 pips
  • Type: Aura
  • Beastmoon Lvl: 5
  • Mechanics: Apply a +50 flat damage for 4 rounds aura to an ally.

  • I really like the wolf balance Beastform. I like it as a support role even more than the balance cyclops. I just love the utility of clearing a shield and doing damage. Also the swapping blades and giving an ally 2 pips is super useful! What do you think? What’s your favorite support form in the beast moon and why?

    • So far my favorite support oriented form is the Balance cyclops. I love it’s ability to swap shields to allow it’s partner a clear line of attack.
