Summer Spellwrighting Contest 2024

We’re back with another Spellwrighting contest. Ever since the release of Loremaster back in 2013 there have been many lore spells added into the game. Now it’s time for you to create your very own Lore spell as it’s this year’s theme of the Spellwrighting Contest. Join our contest to win some exciting prizes!

Rules

Create one lore spell that could be found inside of an upcoming lore pack. Make sure your spell is world-themed (it can be any world from the spiral or your own made-up world). If you’re planning to make a made-up world themed spell, please include a short description of your world.

• Use spellwrighting tiers to show different variants of your spell
• Your spell should have at least 2 spellwrighting tiers and 2 branches

The Contest will run from June 22st until June 30th at 11:59 PM Eastern Time

Winners will be announced the next day on July 1st.

Judging Criteria

• Lore Spell Rules – Your spell should use a school pip and have decreased accuracy (-5%) to be on par with existing lore spells.
• Creativity – Be creative, don’t reuse combinations that already exist in game!
• Balance – Make sure your spell isn’t too weak or too strong.
• Graphics – Create your spells either yourself in a graphics software or you can also use our SpellMaker tool! (highly encouraged)
