Valentine’s Day in Wizard101
February is here, and that can only mean one thing: the Friendship Festival for Valentine’s Day is back! The event usually starts at the very beginning of the month, and lasts for around two weeks. You’ll know it has begun when Valentina Heartsong appears in the Shopping District. She sells some Friendship-themed wands and pets for Crowns. To celebrate this lovely occasion, the event brings plenty of exclusive housing items, mounts, seasonal packs, and lots of holiday gear.
This guide will cover everything you can do, farm for, or purchase during the Friendship Festival season. There are usually discounts on or bundles of red and pink items or pets as well. As always, Lord Nightshade in Haunted Cave, Wizard City is a reliable source of most, if not all, dropped wands and pets. Lord Nightshade and Jade Oni are both popular farming spots during Holiday events and should be the first place you go to for Holiday stitch items!
Seasonal Fish
The only Seasonal Fish available for the Friendship Festival is the Be Mine Fish.
She is Fire, Rank 1, and appears in a lot of Castles and world hub areas. I recommend searching for this fish in pools that do not usually contain fire fish, such as the Ice House, Life House, or Darkmoor Manor.

For this event, there are 6 exclusive styles of wand up for grabs. All are purchasable from Valentina, but where’s the fun in that? The 3 wand designs are dropped from Lord Nightshade, but the 3 staffs are a bit harder to find.

Teleport Effects
The Hearts teleport effect is sometimes in the Crown Shop, and sometimes a reward from a Crowns Reward Event during the Friendship Festival celebrations. Here’s to hoping it makes an appearance in the Crown Shop soon!
Seasonal Packs
Whilst we usually get lots of bundles in the Crown Shop during this event, there are surprisingly few packs available. The only one is the Friendship Pack, costing 99 Crowns and containing a variety of school and emoji-themed heart housing items. Occasionally, around the time of the event, we are given a code for one free pack!
