Khrysalis Global Spells
The second part of the world of Khrysalis brought with it plenty of new spells for us to play with! This includes the Khyrsalis global spells, the Moon shift spells, and the Shadow creature spells! Let’s take a look at the Khrysalis global spells and see what makes them so different from what we’ve previously experienced.
These spells are available from Amelia Stardust in Radiance Reborn. Make sure to talk with this NPC as soon as you reach them in front of the Chambers of the Mind (the three solo instances you do in Radiance Reborn). You will not be receiving any of the spells automatically. In fact, make sure you specifically interact with Amelia to open up the below spell training screen. Additionally, you will need to have reached level 97 before being able to learn these bubble spells.
Your school’s spell is free, but you can get the others by spending training points.
Global / Bubble spells are spells that offer a particular effect to the battle circle. For instance, there are bubbles that increase damage and others that increase or decrease healing. However, do keep in mind that the effects from the bubbles will impact both allies and enemies. The Khrysalis global spells offer two stats we haven’t seen on bubbles yet – critical and pierce.

Katabatic Wind
- School: Ice
- Accuracy: 100%
- Pips: 4
- Effect: +20% Ice pierce & +20% Ice critical to everyone in the battle circle
Namaste
- School: Life
- Accuracy: 100%
- Pips: 4
- Effect: +20% Life pierce & +20% Life critical to everyone in the battle circle
Saga of Heroes

Global Spell Notes
The pierce from these globals will be applied to any spell which does damage from that school. For instance, using Saga of Heroes (Myth) will give 20% pierce to the Myth attack from Chimera. In fact, any spell that does any type of Myth damage will be impacted.
On the other hand, critical on these bubbles works differently than pierce. For the bubble critical to be applied, the spell being cast needs to be of the same school as the bubble. For instance, you are casting Chimera and you don’t have any critical from your gear. In this case, the Balance bubble (Counterforce) needs to be cast for a possible crit.
Only one global spell at the same time! Casting another one will replace the one currently in play.
Global spells are applied immediately as soon as they are cast. Thus, if the player in the first position casts the global, the players in the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th positions will start benefiting from the effects on that same round.
Never forget that the globals also apply to the enemies and not just your team!
