Final Bastion Staff Application 2023

Throughout Final Bastion’s (and Duelist101’s) history, we’ve recruited many impressive writers to join the Final Bastion ranks, including multiple current Kingsisle developers. We’re looking to open up our staff application again to fill some holes! If you want to be part of our tight-knit team and provide high-quality coverage of new and old content for Wizard101 and Pirate101, look no further!

We’re looking for content writers, content curators, graphics designers, artists, and more. In particular, we’d love to have someone to help update our ever-popular Best Max Level Gear series, continue to expand our Wizard101 PvP guides and coverage, and provide innovative and efficient strategies for the game’s newest high-level bosses! All you need is time, a touch of responsibility and motivation! If you have any questions, feel free to drop a comment below. On the application, the “provide a sample” section is MANDATORY for everyone. Those of you interested in writing will need to develop the bulk of a piece you would be interested in writing. This will likely mean between 500-1000 words. Upon acceptance, this sample piece will become your first article at Final Bastion. If you have further questions, feel free to reach out.

Please note that we are mainly looking to add Wizard101 writers. Although we are happy to add a “pure” Pirate101 writer or two, particularly if they have an outstanding application, our priority is expanding our active Wizard101 writerbase. Although Pirate101 is starting to get more consistent updates, they are not at a size yet where we would want to massively expand our current Pirate101 team, especially if they cannot double as Wizard101 writers. We will though, of course, consider all applications.
