What’s to come?

By looking at the “may casts” that currently don’t exist, you get an idea of what is to come. May cast Spirit Shield, for example, is currently a talent on the first generation Bronze Golem, so a “may cast” for Elemental Shield can’t be far behind. Another example would be the dispel talents. There are currently may cast dispel talents for every school except Myth, so it’s logical that that schools will get its dispel as a may cast talent sooner or later.

What do you think of may cast talents?

Which “may casts” do you have experience with? Do you find them useful? Which ones would you like to give a try? Tell us in the comments!

  • Any idea when this’ll be updated with up to date images, cast rates, triggers (etc)?

Not trying to rush btw, i’m just curious.

  • There is this talent I found called “steal blade” which is the same as may cast steal charm. They are different talents however as I was able to put both talents on the same pet. Wonder if the cast rates are different and if they are truly treated as separate talents

  • Are there any estimations on trigger rates that could be noted on some of the more powerful talents. Or at least between similar talents like ardent amplifier and amplifier

  • Sprite Queen doesn’t heal all team members, it’s just an amplified version of Spritely

    • hello! it seems you’re right, it will be changed

  • Does the Sno ‘N Tell talent still exist? Anyone I can hatch with it for?

  • Please update the information for may cast enfeeble and shatter.
Enfeeble triggers- player casts a negative charm on the opponent, opponent casts a bubble, or opponent casts a blade.
Shatter triggers- player casts a trap on the opponent, or opponent casts a shield.

  • What Pet cast Snow ‘N Tell? o.O

  • I did not find this overly helpful at all. still no answer as to what WILL trigger deathblade.
all 5 of my death school pets and beloved ultra ghost dragon has deathblade m.c but rarely ever see it cast. my scarecrow original mega has spritely, and death blade, and death shield may cast.
I see spritely used a couple times in a long battle,(ie. 40 min.)
Richard dragonHammer lv 123, daily player, as at/on jan 7th 2019

    • Yes, there is not a lot of information available on the maycasts that trigger only rarely. As you noticed, spritely is more common. Getting reliable information on maycasts that trigger so rarely would require a huge amount of data.

I’m pretty sure the trigger for the maycast blades is only you attacking an enemy. Spritely is triggered by more things than just you attacking, so that’s why you see it more. I’ve seen it be triggered by incoming and outgoing attacks, and by shields.

  • Very nice so far. I learned a lot just from reading this amount. It’s awesome someone is testing all of these. Thankss!

  • Could you please update this guide? It’s very helpful and I like the setup but it’s missing quite a few talents.

    • Noted, thanks!

      • Also, can you please do a guide on how to train your pet so that if it has a may cast talent, its guaranteed to learn it? I’ve never been clear on what categories to train for this (strength, will, agility etc)
        Thanks!

        • The pets stats (strength, will, etc) don’t have anything to do with which talents will manifest. Those stats only have to do with how much value a stat talent (like Spell Proof or Pain Giver) would give you. May-casts are something else.
Ideally, find pets that have manifested the may-cast talent you want and hatch with it. This might up your odds of getting and manifesting that talent.
