So you need Stone Blocks?
Many of the crafting quests require Stone Blocks, Sandstone or Sunstone. But where can you find them? Here’s a list of the most recommended places for Stone Blocks, organized per world.
Criteria used for ranking these farming spots:
- Ease to reach the area
- Amount of Stone Blocks spawning spots
- Amount of Stone Blocks per realm change
- Size of the area
- Other reagents in the area
- Enemies in the area, chance of being pulled into a fight
- Current popularity of the area
To get Sandstone or Sunstone, use the transmute recipe sold by Avery Templeton (Celestia Base Camp) and Kimba Kalla (Celestia > The Floating Land > Water-Mole Village).
Wizard City
Advantages:
- It’s in Wizard City, so it’s easy to reach (through Triton Avenue)
- You can also pick up Shells in this area
- Not a popular farming area, so not much competition
Disadvantages:
- There are 12 spawning spots in this area, but not that many Stone Blocks per realm (2–3 at most)

- This is the only place in Wizard City with Stone Blocks!
Krokotopia
Winner:
Advantages:
- You don’t have to quest very far to get here
- You can also pick up Ore in this area
- Not a popular farming area, so not much competition
- There are 8 spawning spots in this area, with 2–4 Stone Blocks per realm
Disadvantages:
- Quite a large area, so much running required
- Easy to get caught because the reagents are in the middle of the road

- Royal Hall (especially the Dig Site)

Marleybone
Winner 1:
Advantages:
- 7 spawning spots, 2–4 spawns per realm
- You can also pick up Scrap Iron in this area
Disadvantages:
- Large area, so lots of running
- It’s easy to get caught by the enemies here

Winner 2:
Advantages:
- Really small area, not much running required
- You can also pick up Mist Wood in this area
Disadvantages:
- So small area that you’ll have to wait half a minute before you can change realms
- 4 spawning spots, not that many Stone Blocks per realm (0–2 spawns at most)

Other places that were suggested in Marleybone:
- Chelsea Court
- Hide Park
- Kensington Park
Mooshu
Mooshu doesn’t seem to have any areas with lots of Stone Blocks!
The instances Shirataki Temple and Tree of Life and the area Yoshihito Temple were mentioned, but none of those had enough Stone Blocks to make it to this list.
Dragonspyre
Winner 1:
Advantages:
- Small area, not much running required
- You can also pick up Ore in this area (marked in green)
- No enemies nearby so no risk of being pulled into a fight
- Easy to reach from the Dragonspyre “Commons” (called The Basilica)
Disadvantages:
- Popular farming spot, so many competitors
- Not that many Stone Blocks per realm (3 spawning spots, 1–2 spawns per realms)

Advantages:
- You can also pick up Ore in this area (marked in green)
- No enemies nearby so no risk of being pulled into a fight
- Easy to reach from the Dragonspyre “Commons” (called The Basilica)
Disadvantages:
- Fairly big area, lots of running
- Not that many Stone Blocks per realm (6 spawning spots, 1–3 spawning spots at most)

- The Grand Chasm Past
Grizzleheim
Winner:
Advantages:
- No enemies nearby so no risk of being pulled into a fight
- Small area, though running up and down the slopes is annoying
- No competition from other farmers
Disadvantages:
- Not that many Stone Blocks per realm (6 spawning spots, 0–2 spawning spots on average per realm
- You might have difficulty finding it (go to Grizzleheim, turn left past Zeke and left again before the boat to Wintertusk)

- Austrilund (better for Ore and Frost Flower)
Celestia
Winner:
Advantages:
- Fairly small area, one round takes about one minute
- No enemies nearby so no risk of being pulled into a fight
- This is the “Commons” area of Celestia, so easy to reach
- This area has about the same amount Shells as Stone Blocks
Disadvantages:
- Only 4 spawning spots, and not that many spawns per realm (1–2 at most)

Wysteria
Winner:
Advantages:
- There are enemies, but you don’t get pulled in easily
- 7 spawning spots, 1-4 spawns per realm
- Also has spawning spots for Parchment, Black Lotus and Mist Wood
- Barely any competition
Disadvantages:
- Fairly large area, so some running required

- Tanglewood Way
Zafaria
Advantages:
- There is also the occasional spawning spot for Sandstone and Black Lotus
- 8 spawning spots, 2–4 spawns per realm
Disadvantages:
- Moderately sized area, some running required
- Fairly popular farming spot
- Requires more running to reach the place (Boabab Crown > Boabab Market > Stone Town)

- Waterfront
Avalon
Advantages:
- Medium sized area
- 8 spawning spots (1–3 spawns per realm on average)
- Has the occasional Black Lotus and Cat Tail
- Not that many other farmers
- Can be combined with Abbey Road to make a longer route
Disadvantages:
- You might need a friend to teleport there

- Abbey Road (can be combined with Caliburn)
- Caer Lyon
- Lake Shore
- Outer Yard (nice spot too)
- The Wyrd
Azteca
Winner:
Advantages:
- Medium sized area
- Each spawning spot has the chance of getting a Stone Block
- In addition to Stone Blocks, these spawning spots will get Black Lotus and Red Mandrake
- About 3–5 Stone Block spawnings spots per realm
- Can be accessed from the Azteca “Commons” (called The Zocalo) without having quested in the world
Disadvantages:
- You might need a friend to teleport there

Khrysalis
Advantages:
- Moderately sized, not too much running
- Not known to many yet, so no competitors
- It’s the new world, so it still feels fresh
- Also has spawning spots for Ore and Red Mandrake
- Fairly many spawns (3–6 per realm)
- Easy to reach from the “Commons” of Khrysalis (Bastion)
Disadvantages:
- You might need a friend to teleport to the Khrysalis “Commons” (The Bastion)
