When it says defeat boss right away, it means the very next round. If you try to defeat the boss in the same round as the minion is defeated, it will bring both enemies back and you’ll have to start all over

Did anyone actually get the perm mounts from the secret boss? I’ve done about 50 runs and still no luck.

In reply to Richard Baylis. I assume patches in the coming weeks will fix the bugs with the gauntlet. Also, the drop rate of pack items in gauntlets has always been pretty low, iirc, so that's nothing new.

I think this gauntlet is very poor value. Drop rate is rubbish, it’s buggy (second wizard couldn’t exit to the Telegraph Box after the Time Butterfly battle) and the equipment seller NPC only has three non stat Hats at a ludicrous gold price. What is the logic in high level wizards not having minions to defeat in the last battle any way? For the poor rewards this gauntlet represents I’m very disappointed and seriously thinking of petitioning KI for it to be removed from my wizard and a refund given.

I have to say, the fact that the wands and gear are not as good as sinbad is in a way really nice. It removed a lot of the stress and obligation of doing the gauntlet and just let me play it for the sake of exploring and seeing what’s new without worrying about getting a wand. The gauntlet is a ton of fun and I’m definitely looking to try farming those cybermanders for a Krok mount!
