Ice School Beastmoon Spells


This article will list all Ice school Beastmoon spells as well as explore their mechanics. Note- Some of these mechanics are extrapolated from the card text alone as many Beastmoon forms have not reached the requisite level to unlock the cards. Ice Colossus Spells

Eternal Aegis

 

  • Cost: X pips
  • Type: Positive Ward (Shield)
  • Beast Form: Ice Colossus
  • Beastmoon Lvl: Lvl 5
  • Mechanics: This spell is a fairly straightforward one that adds a 125 per pip damage absorb shield.

Scrap Trap

 

  • Cost: 0 pips
  • Type: Positive Ward (Shield)
  • Beast Form: Ice Colossus
  • Beastmoon Lvl: Lvl 2+
  • Mechanics: Our first introduction to the new keyword: clear. This spell gives the target a 100 damage absorb shield and removes a trap from said target.

Aegis of Artemis

 

  • Cost: 0 pips
  • Type: Positive Ward (Shield)
  • Beast Form: Ice Colossus
  • Beastmoon Lvl: Lvl 1+
  • Mechanics: Gives the target a 100 damage absorb shield and 1 stun shield.

Shielded Beetle

 

  • Cost: 1 pip
  • Type: Damage
  • Beast Form: Ice Colossus
  • Beastmoon Lvl: Lvl 1+
  • Mechanics: This is our first introduction to conditional mechanics since the Scion spells. It deals 50 Ice damage to the target. However, if the enemy has a blade the spell will instead deal 100 Ice damage.

Sleet Snake

 

  • Cost: 2 pips
  • Type: Damage
  • Beast Form: Ice Colossus
  • Beastmoon Lvl: Lvl 1+
  • Mechanics: Another spell that gains an effect once a condition is met. This spell deals 100 Ice damage but will also stun an enemy if they have a trap on them.

Blue Moon Bird

 

  • Cost: 3 pips
  • Type: Damage
  • Beast Form: Ice Colossus
  • Beastmoon Lvl: Lvl 3+
  • Mechanics: This spell deals 150 Ice damage and removes a blade from the enemy. If a blade is successfully removed, this spell will deal 300 Ice damage instead.

Armory of Artemis

 

  • Cost: 3 pips
  • Type: Positive Ward (Shield)
  • Beast Form: Ice Colossus
  • Beastmoon Lvl: Lvl 1+
  • Mechanics: This spell adds a 175 damage absorb shield and 1 stun block to the entire team

Snow Swarm

 

  • Cost: 4 pips
  • Type: Damage
  • Beast Form: Ice Colossus
  • Beastmoon Lvl: Lvl 1+
  • Mechanics: This spell is a straightforward 200 Ice damage to one enemy

Iceheart Kraken

 

  • Cost: 5 pips
  • Type: Damage all Enemies (AoE)
  • Beast Form: Ice Colossus
  • Beastmoon Lvl: Lvl 4+
  • Mechanics: An attack that deals 150 Ice damage to the enemy team. If an enemy has a trap on them also stun that particular enemy.

Cold-Fired Phoenix

 

  • Cost: 5 pips
  • Type: Damage all Enemies (AoE)
  • Beast Form: Ice Colossus
  • Beastmoon Lvl: Lvl 1+
  • Mechanics: Another spell that hits everyone on the enemy team. Normally, this spell deals 150 Ice damage to the enemy team. However, if the caster has an active shield this spell will instead deal 275 Ice damage to the enemy team

 

Ice Krokomummy Spells

Chilling Touch

 

  • Cost: 0 pips
  • Type: Damage
  • Beast Form: Ice Krokomummy
  • Beastmoon Lvl: Lvl 2+
  • Mechanics: Deals 25 Ice damage to a target. If the target has a trap on them this spell will also stun them for one round.

Mummy Wraps

 

  • Cost: 0 pips
  • Type: Positive Ward (Shield)
  • Beast Form: Ice Krokomummy
  • Beastmoon Lvl: Lvl 1+
  • Mechanics: Gives the target a 75 damage absorb and 1 stun shield.

Recycle Ward

 

  • Cost: 1 pip
  • Type: Manipulation
  • Beast Form: Ice Krokomummy
  • Beastmoon Lvl: Lvl 4+
  • Mechanics: This spell gives you a 25 damage absorb and removes a trap from the target. If the spell successfully removes a trap, it will give the target a 125 damage absorb instead.

Snow Stalker

 

  • Cost: 1
  • Type: Damage
  • Beast Form: Ice Krokomummy
  • Beastmoon Lvl: Lvl 1+
  • Mechanics: Deals 75 Ice damage and removes a blade. If a blade is successfully removed, the spell will deal 125 Ice damage instead.

Crystal Scarab

 

  • Cost: 2
  • Type: Damage
  • Beast Form: Ice Krokomummy
  • Beastmoon Lvl: Lvl 1+
  • Mechanics: This spell is normally a straightforward 150 Ice damage to an enemy. However if the enemy has a trap this spell will also give the user a 125 damage absorb. Talk about value!

Ancient Wraps

 

  • Cost: 2 pips
  • Type: Positive Ward (Shield)
  • Beast Form: Ice Krokomummy
  • Beastmoon Lvl: Lvl 1+
  • Mechanics: Gives the target a 200 damage absorb and 1 stun shield.

Disarming Trap

 

  • Cost: 3 pips
  • Type: Negative Ward (Trap)
  • Beast Form: Ice Krokomummy
  • Beastmoon Lvl Required: Lvl 3+
  • Mechanics: Places a +225 damage trap on an enemy and removes a blade. If a blade is successfully removed, it places a +300 flat damage trap instead.

Eventide Snowman

 

  • Cost: 3 pips
  • Type: Damage
  • Beast Form: Ice Krokomummy
  • Beastmoon Lvl: Lvl 1+
  • Mechanics: Deals 225 Ice damage to the target

Gelid Ancestor

 

  • Cost: 4 pips
  • Type: Damage all Enemies (AoE)
  • Beast Form: Ice Krokomummy
  • Beastmoon Lvl: Lvl 1+
  • Mechanics: Deals 200 Ice damage and removes one blade from all targets. If it successfully removes a blade, it instead deals 250 Ice damage to the target that lost a blade.

Shivering Marid

 

  • Cost: 5 pips
  • Type: Damage all Enemies (AoE)
  • Beast Form: Ice Krokomummy
  • Beastmoon Lvl: Lvl 5
  • Mechanics: Deals 200 Ice damage to all enemies. If an enemy has a trap, this spell deals 275 Ice damage instead to that particular enemy.
